Are the work from home jobs at UltraModern Technologies permanent or contractual?

Most remote roles are permanent positions on our payroll, not short-term contracts or freelance arrangements. We hire for the long term and expect the same from team members.

Can I apply if I live outside a major city?

Yes. Our remote jobs are open to candidates from anywhere in India. Several team members work from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. As long as you have a stable internet connection and can attend video calls during overlap hours, location is not a barrier.

What is the working hours expectation for remote employees?

Most remote roles require a 4–6 hour overlap with our Indore-based team, roughly between 10 AM and 4 PM IST. Outside that window, your schedule is more flexible. We don't measure attendance by hours logged.

Do you hire freshers for remote positions?

Yes, for certain roles. Content writing, SEO, customer support, and education counseling are areas where we hire freshers with a demonstrable interest in the field. Development and design roles typically require some prior project experience, even if it's personal or academic work.

Is there any in-person requirement for remote roles?

For most remote roles, in-person attendance is not required for day-to-day work. We do organize occasional all-team meetups, and some senior or client-facing roles may require periodic travel. This is discussed openly during the hiring process.

How do remote employees communicate with their teams?

Day-to-day communication happens through Slack and Google Workspace. Client communication follows project-specific protocols. Video calls are used for design reviews, sprint meetings, and client presentations.

Are remote employees eligible for the same benefits as office-based staff?

What kind of internet connection is required?

A stable broadband connection with enough bandwidth to support video calls is the baseline requirement. We recommend at least 10 Mbps for consistent performance.
